As the founder of Nanina Ra, my goal is to create products that help heal the body and give my valued customers the luxurious at-home spa experience. A few months ago, dark marks started to appear on my face, and I didn't know what to do. My skin was also dry and patchy. Some of my other friends were experiencing some of the same issues with their skin. I knew I had to get to work and create a product that will help solve this problem.
No matter your age, we all have skin problems. I started doing research to understand what ingredients would help my valued customers achieve healthy skin. I came across this article on black volcanic clay, which stated that clay provides us with the earliest example of using the earth's resources to solve medical problems. Black clay draws out toxins to the outside surface of the skin. These toxins then enter into the clay and sit in between the skin layers. I also learned that the black clay is categorized as a preserved alkaline resource and is effective in removing excess sebum and other impurities. I knew then this was the type of product I had to add to the Nanina Ra line of products, which is why I created our Black Volcanic Detox facial scrub.
Nanina Ra customers deserve the best, so I added additional beneficial ingredients that would enrich the properties of the black clay mask. These ingredients include cannabidiol (CBD), which is found in the cannabis plant. Most people confuse CBD for THC, another cannabinoid, but there's a prime difference. THC is the cannabinoid that produces psychoactive effects or the "high" feeling. CBD oil comes from hemp and does not create a psychotropic effect. CBD oil is excellent for most skin types as it can moisturize without clogging your pores. It can help balance out oily skin, hydrating it, and regulating the skin's sebum production. Dryness can also cause your skin to overproduce oil, which can cause acne. The CBD, along with the black clay, will help regulate sebum production. Our black clay also mask exfoliates, which helps remove dead skin cells.
